Game Designer | Writer
Throughout my childhood, I wrote short stories and fanfiction, which has since turned into a passion for storytelling for games. I first studied in DSK (India) and then Abertay (UK) to hone my skills and better understand game design.
I enjoy working on collaborative projects and learning new skills, both professionally and as hobbies. While I primarily work on game and narrative design, I have experience with art (2D and 3D), UI design, audio and programming. I have also taken on a variety of extra skills such as acting and prop crafting.
Manzil is a text game created for my Honours Project. It is a narrative game that focuses on dialogue and the conflict of goals as you try to convince your family to let you move out.
Manzil takes the dialogue and family dynamics present in popular Bollywood stories and presents them without the bright visuals and catchy songs, exposing the true message that many of these stories unintentionally send.
